Bierman Hampshire farm is dedicated to continue the breed of Hampshire Hogs
Our farm was started when John and Howard Newlin agreed to become our partners and Newlin Hampshire's came to Wheeler in 1994.
After the dispersal of Newlin Hampshire's in 1999 due to Howard's death, we focused on improving this line of Hampshire's.
Today we have genetics from 2 Lines of Hampshire hogs : Newlin Genetics and Walridge Genetics. We have Line bred and Crossed these two lines to make the sow and Herd boars we have today.
Our 3 goals in Breeding Hampshire hogs are:
1. Make Hampshire hogs the choice for muscle and Leanness
2. Make Hampshire hogs productive. Boars produce 20+ doses Semen and Sows farrow 12+ pigs/litter
3 Line breed Genetics to make a uniform and consistent product.
